Calvert Lewin Out Injured With Knee Problem

Calvert Lewin Out Injured With Knee Problem

Calvert Lewin, the Everton striker, is expected to be out for at least two weeks with a knee injury.

The 25-year-old picked up the injury in training and will miss Everton's upcoming Premier League game against Arsenal.

Lewin has been in fine form for Everton this season, scoring seven goals in 10 appearances. His injury is a blow to the club, who are already without Dominic Calvert-Lewin through injury.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti said: "It's a big blow for us. Calvert-Lewin is a very important player for us. He's a great goalscorer and he's also very good at linking up the play."

Ancelotti said he was not sure how long Calvert-Lewin would be out for, but he expected him to be back in action within two weeks.

Everton will be hoping Calvert-Lewin can return to action soon, as they have a number of important games coming up, including a Champions League clash with Liverpool.
