## Cross Country to Host Wyoming Invite ### Event to Feature Top Teams from the Region The University of Wyoming's cross country team will host the Wyoming Invite on Saturday, September 17th. The meet will feature some of the top teams in the region, including the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and the University of Utah. The men's race will start at 10:30 AM, followed by the women's race at 11:30 AM. The races will be held on the UW cross country course, which is located on the west side of campus. The Wyoming Invite is one of the most prestigious cross country meets in the region. It is a great opportunity for the UW cross country team to compete against some of the best teams in the country. ### Teams Competing in the Invite * University of Wyoming * University of Colorado * Colorado State University * University of Utah * Brigham Young University * Idaho State University * Montana State University * University of Montana * Weber State University ### Course Map The UW cross country course is a 6-kilometer loop that is located on the west side of campus. The course is relatively flat and fast, with only a few small hills. ### Directions to the Course The UW cross country course is located at 15th and Lewis Streets in Laramie, Wyoming. From the intersection of 15th and Lewis Streets, turn west onto Lewis Street. The course is located on the left-hand side of the road, just past the UW Golf Course. ### Parking Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the UW Golf Course. Please allow extra time to park and walk to the course. ### Spectators Spectators are welcome to attend the Wyoming Invite. The best viewing areas are located near the start/finish line and along the course. Please be aware that the course is open to the public and there may be some pedestrian traffic during the race. ### Concessions Concessions will be available at the Wyoming Invite. Food and drinks will be for sale, and all proceeds will benefit the UW cross country team. ### Results Results from the Wyoming Invite will be posted on the UW cross country website following the meet.
