The Los Angeles Dodgers extended their winning streak to five games on Tuesday night with a 5-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. Mookie Betts hit a solo home run in the first inning, and Clayton Kershaw pitched 6 2/3 strong innings to earn the win.
Kershaw allowed just two runs on five hits and two walks, while striking out seven batters. The Giants offense managed just two hits off the Dodgers' bullpen in the final 2 1/3 innings.
The Dodgers took an early lead in the first inning when Betts hit a solo home run off Giants starter Alex Cobb. It was Betts' 15th home run of the season and his second in as many games.
