GTA V and GTA Online Now Upgraded for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S
Enhanced Visuals, Faster Loading Times, and More
Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online have received significant upgrades for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. These upgrades bring stunning visuals, faster loading times, and a range of technical enhancements to the critically acclaimed open-world action game.
Stunning Visuals
The upgrades to GTA V and GTA Online include a host of graphical improvements, including higher resolution textures, increased draw distances, and improved lighting effects. The game now supports 4K resolution with up to 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and 1440p resolution with up to 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series S. Additionally, the game takes advantage of the consoles' advanced hardware to deliver real-time ray tracing for more realistic lighting and shadows.
Faster Loading Times
Another significant improvement in the upgrades is the reduction in loading times. With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S's solid-state drives, GTA V and GTA Online load significantly faster than on previous-generation consoles. Players can now jump into the game and start playing almost instantly.
Technical Enhancements
Beyond the graphical improvements and faster loading times, the upgrades to GTA V and GTA Online also include a range of technical enhancements to improve the overall gameplay experience. These include improved performance, increased stability, and various bug fixes. Additionally, the game supports the DualSense controller on the PlayStation 5, which provides haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for a more immersive gaming experience.
The upgrades to GTA V and GTA Online are available now as a free update for owners of the game on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Rockstar Games has not announced any plans to release similar upgrades for the PC version of the game.
